Facilities

Facility: There is a provision for awarding half-free studentship for a few students, but the half free ship is awarded on the strict consideration of the financial condition of the parents of the students, to be determined by the competent authority, and a certificate to this effect has to be produced, while applying for the free ship.


Library:   The school has a rich library with many books such as text and reference books of different subjects, including  books on general knowledge,  dictionaries, literature, science, history, music and, different types of story books.


Laboratories:  The school has 6 well-equipped and well-furnished laboratories for the students of the higher classes to gain practical experience of the theoretical knowledge. The Science Faculty has three laboratories, one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Faculties of Nutrition and Geography also have their laboratories to train students in dietary practical, and the cartographic techniques.  There is a well-equipped computer section in the school, besides a music room.


Play ground: The most serious problem of the school is its small size and area, therefore, the school does not have its own playground. The students use the small garden adjacent to the Harisava Mandir as playground.  Nevertheless, the students of the Harisava Hindu Girls’ High School have done fairly well in different sports such as gymnastic, tennis, badminton, and swimming at the district, state and national level and brought laurel to the school. Now-a-days, the karate training is imparting to the students of the school, and they are being trained how to protect themselves in times of danger.
